Hospice Therapy

Eastern Rehab offers Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy for individuals that are also receiving Hospice Services.

Eastern Rehab Services is dedicated to helping the patient as well as the family by providing:

Family Education and Safety instruction

Educating the patient, family members and caregivers on proper positioning and transfer training for patient safety and pressure relief.
Adaptive equipment assessment and ordering

Educating the patient, family members and caregivers on proper adaptive equipment to assist patient functional independence and safety. ie: reachers, dressing sticks, bed rails, trapeze bars, walkers etc...
Transfer Training

Educating the patient, family members and caregivers on proper transfer techniques to increase safety awareness sand functional independence and decrease the risk for falls. ie: transfer training from bed to wheelchair, wheelchair to standard chair, wheelchair to commode.
Activities of Daily Living Training

Educating the patient, family members and caregivers on techniques for safely bathing, dressing and eating with the aid of adaptive equipment to increase safety awareness and functional independence.
Gait Training

Educating the patient, family members and caregivers on proper gait techniques with assisted device to increase safe ambulation and functional independence.
